App

Overview

The app provides an easy to use interface to

• Manage your configs
• Review jobs
• Review maintenance jobs
• Review sites
• Assign the current site to a config
• Manually run jobs (please note that this is not required, as all jobs will be triggered by SharePoint webhooks)

The app is optional. That means it is not necessary that this app is installed on all site collections that are processed by the inheritance job. It is strongly recommended that this app is installed in at least one site collection in order to manage the service.

Pages

Current Site

This page shows information about the current site. You can view the assigned config, run jobs and view lists that are enabled for Metadata inheritance.

Configs

An overview over all configs defined in the system. Click on a config to with it's details, edit the JSON or view all sites that are assigned to this config.

Sites

An overview over all sites that are enabled for Metadata inheritance. Click on a site to view more details specific to that site.

Jobs

An overview over all jobs that have been executed. You can click on the result-icon to view the detailed results of the job.

Run a Job

Jobs will be run automatically by the system. In case you want to manually trigger a job, you can do it here. A "Dry Run" will do everything a normal jobs does, without actually applying any changes. A full job will process all items in all targets. An incremental job will process items based on the last known change token.

Subscription

This page can be used to show your subscription information or to create a new one if required.
